Idealism or Realism?

All the time at work I am called Naive. Usually I just smile and get back to my job at hand.  Except for a couple of weeks ago. My coworker was listening how I was talking to a costumer and after I was done she just said "wow, I didn't realize you were that naive."
I dont know why, but this time it hurt. I went home and talked to my mom, I told her everything and what I was feeling. I asked if I am naive and am just not smart. she then told me something.
My Auntie Shania was talking about the same thing and was confronted and told that her and her family are naive and are not living in the real world. she and said something like this;
I am not naive. I know excactly what is in this world and so do my husband and children. Instead of living in the realistic world I prefer to live in a Idealistic one.

I would like to say, I am not naive.  I know what is out there and have probably seen and experienced a lot more then people know. I understand how the world works and do not ignore what is in the world.
I do however chose to live in a idealistic world, in a world that I like and prefer! I like looking for the best in people before I hear the bad, I like looking for the beauty in the world before the garbage.

Sometimes this feels as if Im living in a disney movie, But lets be honest, who doesn't want to live in a disney movie?

George Albert Smith the eighth Prophet of The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, lived by resolutions that he called "his creed", 11 ideals. one of which says
“I would not seek to force people to live up to my ideals but rather love them into doing the thing that is right.

I would rather have love in my heart for a person that is doing the right, then forcing them to change and judging for the things they have done. I say this for certain people and the world.

Would you rather live in a Realistic world? or an Idealistic one?

Thank you for reading.
have a magical day!

Revelations

I have come to discover a couple of things as my life goes on.
#1 you will always have to much stuff
And
#2 the Internet connection is bad at night for a reason

#1.
I have WAY to much. Now I tell myself constantly that I'm saving all the junk for my art. Those beads I'll use. And that stereo you took apart one night, sitting your closet. You will need that someday.
Then I think. Well I'm not packing this all up, putting it in a bag and carrying it with me as I travel! So everything I haven't used in two weeks. I get rid of. Books go to moms library and clothes to good will.
I just started. And it's going to be a long road. But I know one thing for sure. I will feel so good not having to look at all the things that I mean to do! And feel so bad about not doing them!

Try and get rid of as much "stuff" as you can! Not only will it make every thing a lot simpler. It will help you focus on the parts of your life where you need focusing!

#2.
As I am sitting in my room trying to type this all out on my phone Blogger app and being really mad at my Internet for not working I realize that it's just a reminder to look at my clock....you know. The one that sits on your dresser or your phone. It haunts you because you know you should be sleeping. (Since sleep is apparently good for you)
Well. Mine days 2:03AM...
So I guess I should say thanks Internet for shutting off and making me sleep.
Naw. I still don't like you!

Have a good day!

Old friends and fun times.

It's so fun when you have your old friend and your sister together! Thou you have matured you can still remember when you did something ridiculous, and have a laugh!
It's great to see that we have all grown and changed but we still have things in common!

Love you girls!!

I have recently started up a food schedule for when I come off the cleanse, which I will put up in the next post.
I woke up late this morning!!  10:00am!!  (sigh) Im such a teenager ;P

When I woke up mom asked me to touch up the fence that my brother painted the other day. So I went out there and started to paint. I had my radio and my paint clothes, then I finished my drink, and when I went to make more there were no more lemons!  I almost died!!   mom saved me and ran to the store to get me some!

                                                          !!!THANK YOU MOMMY!!!

After I had my "breakfast" I finished up the fence and took olivia to the lake!  we had a 2 hour swim and it was amazing!!  the water was great and the sun was shining!!  I loved it!

felt pretty good today!

DAY 5: MASTER CLEANSE

So today was day 5,    YAYYYYY!!!  halfway there!

Today my family and I were going downtown for a walk and picnic (family had the food)
but as we were walking out the door the phone rang.  It was the manager at Davids Tea!!!!
she asked if instead of thursday (tomorrow) could we have our meeting today?  now I was just going that way so I said yes and quickly got dressed into more business worthy clothes.

I thought my meeting went well and then my family and I had a wonderful walk down the shore!
we found crabs and fish and sea anemones. we took driftwood and pretty rocks home with us for memories that we wanted to remember!

I was walking on this rock that was a bit high and the waves were crashing against it when I started to feel dizzy. At first I thought it was the height that was doing it, but then I realized that my stomach was hurting. I needed some more lemonade but as luck would have it I was out!!
we walked back up to the van and drove home. I started to feel more and more icky.
It took all of my strength to make more lemonade and when I did I added way to much cayenne and my mouth was burning. but I didn't care.
I had to go and lie down to feel better, but I'm okay now!
thank goodness!!

have a nice day!!
