My observations.

It saddens me that my sister would rather hang out with me rather then her own age friends.   Who are the ones she should be counting on to back her up when someone makes fun of her or doesn't understand her disabilities.
Instead of laughing at her imperfections.
Why can't my brother go to hang out and not be made fun of for being homeschooled or not watching a PG 13 movie?
Why is it that when I see such great kids all around me. They just seem to not care about anyone but themselves?
Is it the pressure of popularity?
The fight to fit in?
The constant need to be a part of a group?

Let me tell you something.
Jesus Christ never put down another person for being less then perfect.
He is not popular with many people around the world.
He never had to fight to fit in.
He is the leader of the entire world and many religions, but he never had a need to be a part of a exclusive group.
He is our perfect savior and he loves us all for all our imperfections.  He died for us so that we could be resurrected and become perfect.
He is my savior and I love him.
And more importantly he loves and my family. For all their imperfections.

And on that note. He also loves all those kids who are the perpatraders of unkindness. Whether they are struggling or just thoughtless.
I pray we can all be kinder to each other.
