Episode 5: VALENTINES DAY!

Well here it is the most "loved" and hated day of the year!  personally I love it!  CHOCOLATE!!!

 but I have come to realize that there are 4 type of valentines day people;  1) the relationship person, 2) the  I don't care person,  3) the family valentines person, 4) the I hate valentines day person.

Im a #3, family valentines day!!  me and my family have a big dinner and give each other cards!  usually dad and mom with stay with us that night then they go out that weekend for a romantic dinner. 

for dinner the family had steak root vegetables and caesar salad, I had tuna and the root veggies!  

we had made red jello the night before and cupcakes with pink icing so we had that for desert.

the day before valentines day I made the members of my family all origami fortune tellers with a valentines day message inside. But I wasn't able to give it to them until after they all came home. 

 Unfortunately my mom wasn't able to come home until very late at night because one of our family members is in the hospital and she was with her till after dinner. 

my siblings were all out as well, Angus was at a class with his friends and Olivia was at Shakespeare class.

so it was just Joelene and I!!  we had a very fun day thou, crafts, dancing, barbies and the best of all pictures!!

Episode 4

WOW!!  I feel like a failure!  I promised myself that I would write everyday and that hasn't happened. well then I have to make up for it!! last week I had a phone call from the Jacksonville art institute in response to my request for an info packet.  she wanted  to interview me as a international student. we talked for exactly 1hr 58minutes! I was so excited about the school and asked so many questions as well as concerns. she also talked to me about going to their sister school's in Vancouver or Calgary, I wouldn't have to pay as much tuition and "NO STUDENT VISA"!!  So now I have to find a major! 

I also have started to Vlog which so much fun. I'm able to show my life in video and in music. this Vlog is the first real snow day in victoria!!

 

I met a new little cousin, Zachary Samuel Schafer! He is the most adorable little boy, his hands are so small and his feet are as long as my thumb. I was able to make a cute star stuffie that I gave to him, its bigger then his head but bright yellow!

Well it finally started to warm up and I went on a 2 hour walk up on the hill above my house, with my dog Bennet and my little sis Joelene. I took this photo when we reached the top!

 thats what I see every morning!

My mom loves walking up that hill every Saturday...except the last one! she asked all of the family if we would help clean the yard. which includes weeding, raking, stick pick up and fence fixing. I had the best job of the bonfire!!  kids pick up leaves and sticks and I burn them! 

Since the wind was high and the fire was sucking it up the bon fire just kept going up!!

I also went to a dance,

bought a pizza for a good cause,

 and got a red streak in my hair.

so that is how my life has been going! 

And even thou I have had some really hard parts I'm getting along quite well! 

and anyway, when we meet a tiger in our life we must all look it right in the eye and follow Madeline's example and say "poopoo"!!
